The social report Hartz, Rot, Gold looks at the lives of people in the poorest cities and regions of Germany: in Bremerhaven and Bremen on the North Sea coast. The people here have one thing in common: they live in places where very few people have a permanent job and therefore often have to turn over every cent twice. But they have much more in common: solidarity, courage and a lot of heart. For over a year, Hartz, Rot, Gold documents the lives of people living on the breadline and allows them to immerse themselves in their everyday lives and special moments.
